Events for our 100th Birthday (others to follow)
Coffee, tea and cake outings (February get-together postponed because of flooding)
Thursday 19th March. At Church Farm Tea Rooms Anslow. DE13 9QT- meet at 2.30pm.
Friday 17th April at Tuppenhurst Barn WS15 4HJ- meet at 10.30am.
Tree planting on School Green- Friday 3rd April at 2.30pm
We are planting a Rowan Tree to mark our 100th Birthday. Please assemble at School Green between 2.00 and 2.15pm. the tree should be planted by 2.30pm- light refreshments to follow.
100th Birthday Party - June 10th - We are organising an ‘indoor garden party’ which will be catered by Green Door Catering. This will be held at The Parish Hall. Full details to follow.
Archives day - Saturday 11th July at the Parish Hall - details to follow.
May Market 2020.
Early notice for your diaries the May Market will be on Saturday 23rd May. Please remember that we have replaced bric a brac with scarves, jewellery and handbags. Please make sure they are in excellent condition- make sure scarves have been washed and handbags cleared out. Now is the time to sort out your books etc. and to plant your seeds for the plant stall. If you have anything suitable for a Tombola stall, please give it to Penny. This is our main fundraising event and we rely upon your help for a successful day. Stall rota will go out next month.
Web Site. Our ‘webmaster’ Pam updates the website on a monthly basis. She has posted some of our recent photographs for you to look at. Remember if you have photographs from past events, please let Pam have them. Visit yoxallwi.btck.co.uk and have a trip down memory lane.

- Preview Evening for County Show- Tuesday 26th May. 6 - 8 pm cost £7.00.
- County Show- 27th and 28th May- ‘Over the Rainbow’ details of schedule are attached.
- Lady Denman Cup Competition. ‘What I heard on the bus…’ Using no more than 500 words submit a piece of writing fact or fiction, based on a conversation you have or imagined you have overheard on a bus. Full details from Lynda.
- Want to construct a resolution- free meeting at Cornerstone- Monday 6th April. 6.45-8.30pm. Make sure your burning issue gets noticed. Details on table.
- Denman Weekend – Friday 13th November-Sunday 15th November. The cost is £390 per person. This includes return coach travel, accommodation for 2 nights, all meals and tuition. A £50 non refundable deposit is needed by SFWI no later than 26th March. 5 courses are on offer. Full details from Sandra.
- W.I diaries £ 5.10 and Calendars £4.50. 2020-2021. Please order in March or April and pay for them- Ann is taking orders and money.

- Rosemary Palmer Trophy- ‘A Lady’s Crocheted Shawl’- cost £3.50. to be exhibited at The Autumn Council Meeting. Details from Lynda.
